Eurocopter Squirrel AS350 BA
The Squirrel AS350 BA with its powerful 640 hp power plant has the seating capacity of the pilot plus Six (6) passengers. It is ideal for viewing the Victoria Falls and because of the versatility and strength of this helicopter, Batoka Sky is the only operator providing a service, lifting people out of the Batoka gorge from its own heli pads. We have heli-pads at rapids # 10, # 22 and # 25.

B206 III Jet Ranger
The Jet Ranger is one the most popular helicopters in the world. With a seating capacity of the pilot plus four (4) passengers, this versatile helicopter is ideal for filming, gorge lift outs and scenic flights over the Victoria Falls.

Robinson R44 Raven II
The Robinson R44 Raven II has a seating capacity of the pilot plus three (3) passengers that allows all the occupants a window seat. It is ideal for viewing and filming the Victoria Falls and local game because of its unique glass canopy, giving each passenger an unrestricted view wherever sat on the aircraft.

Description of the flights
Because of the close proximity of Maramba Aerodrome to the Zambezi River, the aircraft are over the river within 30 seconds after take off.

15 minute Flight Of The Angels. After take off over the Zambezi River and onwards to the Victoria Falls circle over the Falls and the islands and return to Maramba Aerodrome over the Mosi – oa – Tunya Zoological Park.

22 minute flight. Take off from Maramba Airfield to the Victoria Falls, after viewing the Falls, an exhilarating flight over the local villages to the Batoka Gorge, along the Zambezi River to Rapid 26. Circle over the Victoria Falls and the islands and return to Maramba Aerodrome over the Mosi –oa – Tunya Zoological Park.

30 minute Flight of Angels. After take off over the Zambezi River and onwards to the Victoria Falls, circle over the Falls and the islands. Fly downstream over local native villages and into the Batoka Gorge, along the Zambezi River to Rapid 26 then back to Maramba Aerodrome over the Mosi – oa –Tunya Zoological Park.

Gorge Lift. After Rafting, Jet boat ride or the Gongola, the best way to return to Livingstone is by helicopter. Climbing out of the gorge and the road transfer takes up to two hours! The helicopter trip includes an exhilarating flight through the Batoka Gorge, circle over The Victoria Falls and land at Maramba Aerodrome. Why walk when you can fly?
BATOKA SKY IS THE ONLY HELICOPTER COMPANY IN THE REGION THAT HAS THE RIGHT TO OPERATE HELICOPTER LIFT OUTS FROM IT’S OWN HELICOPTER LANDING PADS AT SONGWE BEACH (Rapid no 10), BOBO CAMP (Rapid no 21) and FROM THE JET EXTREME PAD (Rapid no 25).
The following combinations are available:

Jet Boat / Helicopter. Road transfer to rapid # 25. An exhilarating jet boat ride from rapid no 25, followed by an awesome trip in the helicopter along the bottom of the Batoka Gorge, also taking in the views of Victoria Falls.

Helicopter / African Queen Cruise Company. A fifteen (15) minute FOA followed by an all-inclusive luxury cruise (mid-morning, lunch or sunset cruise) on The African Queen or the African Princess.

Jet Boat / Helicopter / African Queen Cruise Company. An awesome helicopter gorge lift after an exhilarating jet boat ride from rapid no 25 via the Falls and back to Maramba Aerodrome, a short road transfer for an unforgettable sunset cruise on the African Queen or the African Princess.

Rafting / Helicopter. Gorges lift into rapid no 10 (high water only) start rafting or after rafting, gorge lift from to rapid no 10, 22 or 25. Available for half day or full day rafting.

Rafting / Jet Boat / Helicopter. This is an awesome combination for a full day of adrenalin. Gorge lift after the jet boating from rapid no 25.
•
Helicopter / Jet Boat / Helicopter. For those of you that do not like walking, but still want the adrenalin, this is the way to do it at rapid 25.

Picnics at Far-Away Places. We have sited a beautiful spot with absolutely stunning views of the river and the gorges, where we fly you in by helicopter, provide you with a first class lunch and waiter then we can bring you back to reality by helicopter flight out. Minimum of 6 clients is required.
