Company and its facilities are ideally suited for functions and venue hire. The following are offered:

WEDDINGS

To make this special day very memorable the ideal sequence of the special day can be as follows:

1. Bride arrives at the Royal Landing on board the horse drawn carriage of the Victoria Carriage Company.
2. The wedding ceremony is held on board the African Queen or African Princess.
3. After the ceremony the bridal couple can use one of the Victoria Falls River Safari Boats to go to an island for wedding photographs or celebrate the wedding above the

Victoria Falls

in one of the Batoka Sky helicopters.
4. All the guests remain on the boat and are later joined at the Royal Landing for the reception.

2. AFRICAN QUEEN DINNERS
As the sun wanes and the African darkness envelops you, return to the Royal Landing for a dinner you'll never forget. We offer several dinner options that are buffet and not plated:

Sunset Cruise followed by dinner. We offer the exclusive use of the African Queen Cruise Company boats for your dinner. We can accommodate our clients as follows.

• Between 20 - 75 people for dinner on board the African Queen.
• Between 20 - 40 people for dinner on The African Princess.
• Between 20 - 120 on the wooden deck at the Royal Landing.
• Dinner without cruise. For an alternative venue for dinner, dine at the African Queen. Transfers and details available on request.
• Dinners are by pre-arrangement only, a minimum numbers policy applies.

VENUE HIRE

• The Royal Landing is ideally suited for a cocktail function after the cruise.
• $10 per person will be charged to outside caterers to hire our venue. This excludes access to the boats.

SEATING PLANS
Varieties of seating plans are available for the exclusive dinners, depending on both the number of clients and the requests of the group. Please enquire on booking for further details.

Our standard cruises work on a first come first serve seating basis - we are not able to reserve seating on standard cruise bookings.

RAIN PLAN FOR DINNERS
The rainy season in

Zambia

is from November - April with late afternoon thunder showers the most common. In case of a rain plan being implemented, the clients will be, depending on the size of the group divided into two groups and dinner will be served on the lower decks of both boats. Another option will be to hire a marquee at an additional cost of US$ 350 per day.

A marquee can be erected at an additional cost and varies between $200 - $6000 per function per night depending on the type and size of marquee used.

3. COCKTAIL FUNCTIONS
Cocktail functions can be held at the Royal Landing jetty on exclusive basis. The functions start after the regular sunset cruise has docked in the evening. Minimum numbers to confirm is 20pax and 200pax Maximum. Various types of entertainment are available for hire at a cost.
